We embrace quality as a way of life. The customer is the focus of our understanding of quality.

In everything we do, every product we make and every service we provide, we aim for the highest level of quality and for products and services that comply with legal and other requirements.

We have adopted a participatory, process-oriented management system based on risk-based thinking, and we apply the philosophy of continual improvement to our processes.

Working with our suppliers on the principle of long-term cooperation is essential to our understanding of quality. Our main responsibility is for all activities to achieve results that create value for stakeholders in line with the company’s purpose and objectives.

Environment

To leave a liveable world to future generations, Tunç Lift has adopted the principles of sustainable development in all its activities. In line with our value of respect for people, the environment and society, our main responsibilities are to:

• effectively implement an environmental management system that defines responsibilities, objectives and the monitoring of environmental performance, focused on prevention and risk-based thinking,
• improve continually through innovative and creative approaches,
• carry out our activities in line with national and international legislation and standards and the expectations of our stakeholders,
• raise the environmental awareness of our employees and stakeholders.

Our commitments

Guided by our core principle of “respect for people, the environment and society”, Tunç Lift commits to:

• protecting global resources and using energy and materials efficiently,
• preventing pollution and minimising waste,
• reducing the negative environmental impact of our activities and products at every stage from design to end of life,
• ensuring the safety and protecting the health of our employees, suppliers, visitors and other stakeholders in the workplace,
• identifying occupational health and safety risks systematically and preventively in all activities in order to eliminate hazards, prevent them at source or minimise them, following technological developments to direct resources accordingly and providing ergonomic working conditions,
• planning continual improvement to reduce work accidents, occupational diseases and ill health, and monitoring implementation and performance against our objectives,
• fully complying with legal and other stakeholder requirements on occupational health and safety, and considering the requests, views and creative suggestions of our employees, their representatives and other stakeholders, ensuring their consultation and participation,
• organising the training and awareness activities needed for employees and suppliers to adopt and apply the occupational health and safety management system.

These principles will guide us in all our processes and in our relationships with suppliers, customers and other stakeholders.

As a provider of products and services to the elevator industry, Tunç Lift manages its quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems in an integrated way and continually improves them. Tunç Lift undertakes to communicate this policy to all employees and to ensure it is understood.
